INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF BAGPIPERS

The International Festival of Bagpipers arises in 1986 by initiative of Xosé Lois Foxo as Complement of the different activities of the Provincial School of Bagpipes of the County Councel from Ourense (Galicia-Spain) At first it had only galician dimension becoming international level at its 4th Edition.

The most outstanding figures of the bagpipe in the World performed at this Festival being a bridge of Promotion  for very many professional players of the instrument.
