FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE GAITEROS
El Festival Internacional de Gaiteros nace en el año 1986 de la mano de Xosé Lois Foxo como complemento a las actividades de la Escuela Provincial de Gaitas de la Diputación de Ourense (Galicia-España). Inicialmente tenía dimensión a nivel Galicia, adquiriendo carácter internacional  en su 4ª edición.

A lo largo de sus distintas ediciones pasaron por este Festival las figuras más destacadas de la gaita a nivel universal, constituyendo un puente de promoción para muchos profesionales del instrumento.
